Keyboard, touch, accessibility and display settings
Shortcuts, text size, looks, units, projection and phone use.

Help → "Keyboard shortcuts" shows the current keys; members can rebind them there. Shortcuts never fire while you are typing.
Display
- Text: View → "Text: compact", "Text: default", "Text: large", or "Text: smaller" / "Text: larger" in six steps.
- Looks: the "Look:" items in the View menu change the palette and chrome.
- Units: Map → "Units: metric" or "Units: imperial"; aviation and marine readouts keep knots.
- Map: "Flat map" or "Globe", "2D camera" or "3D terrain", and the basemaps (dark, cream, satellite, terrain, night lights). "Terrain relief" adds shading from static elevation data.
- Chrome: "Collapse menu bar", "Observatory" and "Classic floating header" change the frame; the Aa panel switches back.
Touch and phones
Pinch to zoom and drag to pan. On a phone the object panel becomes a sheet at the bottom and workspaces are view-only. Guidance starts as a small bar at the top and folds away when search opens.
Limits to know
- Screen readers get a live summary of the map's state; the map canvas itself cannot be read feature by feature, so use the panels and pages for detail.
